“Come outside, quick.”

On a normal evening, this woman was working in her shop. Minding her own business and relaxing.

The woman posted the security footage online, not expecting much. But almost immediately, messages began pouring in—offers of advice, help, and love from strangers she had never met.

Turning the page of her life

The woman planned to find this pup a loving home and ended up at the doorsteps of Grandpa Liu.

He was an avid animal lover and already had lots of rescue pets.

700 to be exact.

He welcomed the puppy instantly. But the woman, by now deeply bonded to her new friend, made a decision: she would adopt the pup herself.

Seventeen days after being dumped by a trash bin, the little dog went home—not to an alley, not to a shelter, but to a warm bed, loving hands, and a future.
