The first time rescuers saw Wolf alone on the street, the image stayed with them.

Surrounded by machines and needles, their presence became Wolf’s only constant. They spoke to him softly. They held him close. Medical care could fight what was happening inside his body, but emotional support mattered just as much.

What Long-Term Starvation Does to a Dog

Wolf’s condition was not just about weight loss.

The One Constant Was Staying

While doctors searched for answers, the rescuers never left Wolf’s side.
