Frightened Puppy Kept Returning to a Coat in the Forest Until a Rescuer Carried Her Home
Something was moving inside a winter coat beside a forest road.
When animal rescuer angelica_semenova approached, she found a small puppy struggling to move. Her front legs pulled her forward, but her hind legs wouldn’t follow.
Frightened, the puppy tried to hide her head inside a nearby tube. Yet she kept returning to the coat, retreating into the same small space beside the road.
The puppy, called Princess in the rescue account, needed help. Angelica gently gathered her into her arms and took her home.
A Coat Was the Only Comfort She Seemed to Recognize
Even after reaching safety, Princess stayed close to the jacket.

Then Princess Took Her First Steps
Princess began using her hind legs.
After so much uncertainty, she took her first steps. The movements marked a turning point in a recovery that had once seemed far from certain.
Angelica stayed close as Princess began moving more. Over time, the puppy grew stronger and increasingly able to get around.
Those first steps became steadier movement.
And eventually, Princess ran.
From Hiding Beside the Road to Running and Playing
Princess is now able to run and spend time playing with Angelica.
It’s a remarkable change from the frightened puppy who struggled to drag herself toward a hiding place. Her recovery gave her more freedom to explore, move and enjoy the company of the person who had carried her home.
